5 Stars Addictive and FUN!!
I have had this game for a week now and cannot stop playing it! It is very addictive! I am a 35 year old female and play it with my 37 year old boyfriend. We are hooked! I also own We Ski and was hoping this was like that but more enhanced. It is! I think the snowboarding is the most fun! You can take a gondola to the top of the mountain or even a helicopter! The graphics are super and you can also use your Miis. You can play in night or day mode just like We Ski. There are a lot of `hidden’ areas that you can find on the slopes. I cannot say enough about this game, it is fun! I find this one of the more relaxing games I own. And addictive! One thing I think people do not realize is you do not have to have the balance board to play this. That is only an option. I own the wii fit and tried the balance board on We Ski but found it harder. So when I got this game I have only used the wii mote and nunchuk and find it a lot more `hands on’. If you are looking for a game you will grab a lot to play this is it!

5 Stars Very fun, Great game
Got this game last Thursday and have played about 30 hours or so on it so far. Haven’t even seen 1/2 of it as there are tons of areas you can go.

I really enjoyed the downhill competition both on skis and snowboard.

Started with skis but now actually prefer the snowboard.

Unlike the first 2 reviewers I really enjoy the balance board especially for the snowboard.

The only thing I don’t like about it (unless I just haven’t figured out how to do it) is that when you do the competitions there is no record of it kept. I think they should have had high score/ low times recorded.

Other than that the game is great.

5 Stars We ski & snowboard
We enjoyed “We Ski” with the skiing, racing and slalom, but have the mountain memorized and were excited to see the release of “We Ski & Snowboard”. We love the added dimensions — the avalanche dangers — the wild mountain crevices that you fall in and die. The hidden trails, caves and freedom to explore the whole wild mountain is an added dimension to the regular ski resort trails. The races on the wild mountain against five opponents when you don’t have any special trail to follow is challenging — at first you get lost — then find three or four ways to go — then you find the fastest (even if it includes jumping cliffs and navigating hidden tunnels). As you can tell, we are extremely pleased with our newest purchase.

4 Stars Better than the original, but still has room for improvement
I have both “We Ski” and “We Ski and Snowboard”. Unfortunately, you still cannot control speed with the balance board. This new game has a smaller ski resort, but a new additional natural mountain.

There doesn’t seem to be point to the game anymore. In “We Ski”, you were graded on how well you skied each run. You could strive to get the best grade on each slope, but that is gone.

There are new things to do, but not enough for me. The new “task based” quests are too much like work, and don’t entice me to play.

Bottom line: If you are tired of playing “We ski”, then this game will not revive your love of the game. However, if you still can’t get enough of “We Ski”, then you’ll love this update.

5 Stars Wow, Loads of fun
Wow, this game is loads of fun. We got it last thursday and been playing it every day since.

I played it by myself first as I afraid it may be too tough for the kids. I was addicted right away and found it rather simple to control after a short little while of getting used to it.

I then made one kid go to ski school (my 8 year old) and the other jumped right on (6 yrs old) after watching her older sibling. The ski school had too much reading for the 6 year old, but she caught on right away just by watching my other kid at ski school.

Both kids were on the slopes in no time. We ski two at a time, as we only have two remotes. But what a lot of fun as you can ski whereever you want. You can also connect back up if you get lost throuh the map. it is loads of fun to try and follow each other.

As for the balance board, I tried it for one round. But I had more fun with the hand remotes for ski, I thought the balance board was better for the snowbaord. But I perfer skis.

After hours over the weekend we still have not seen every trail, plus loads of competions etc.. still await us. I think this game will hold it’s appeal for a while. Plus I like to stand and be active playing this, so it helps me to burn a few calories.

Two whole mountains of slops. Yahooo.
