Animal Crossing Wild World

Animal Crossing: Wild World takes you into a real-time virtual world where an entire village is waiting to be explored. Whether you want to decorate your home, catch bugs or fish, or just chat with the characters in your village, there’s always something to do. Days and seasons pass in real time, and you can visit the vilages of online players — even if they’re a thousand miles away.

1 Star Teaches kids to either give into bullies or pay the consequences!
I bought this for my 10 year old daughter and after a month or 2 she met this Resetti character. He’s a total bully that, if you do not allow yourself to be bullied he will call you (or your child) names such as “dumb”, “dirt” and “loser”. Not only is this terrible for a child’s self-esteem but teaches children to be rude, insensitive and defensive or else submissive to bad characters. I cannot believe that Nintendo came out with this character on ANY game, much less one that is rated E. With the crime rate & other problems being what it is in this country this is not the types of behaviors and characters I want to passively expose my child to, which will desentitize her and teach her that this kind of communication is normal and acceptable.

4 Stars animal crossing: wild world
well not much to say if you liked the game cube version you’ll like the ds version, small tweaks and changes here and there but its the same game in the end. i liked it.

5 Stars Review by 11 year old girl
At first, I wasn’t sure I wanted to get this game, the commercials made it sound kind of babyish. But when I started to play the game, I had sooo much fun. First of all, I think the graphics are very good, compared to other DS games. The gameplay is a lot of fun, you can never get bored. You can talk to the other animals in the town, deliver them items, and even send them letters. You can get very attached to your neighboors and be sad when your favorite buddy moves away. You can decorate your house with a huge variety of furniture you can buy at Tom’s Nook. You can pick apples from trees, go fishing, and catch bugs and sell them for bells (money) at Tom’s Nook. Overall, I think the game is EXCELLENT and I highly reccomend it being bought.

5 Stars Best DS Game Made!!!!!!!!!
I bought this game about 3 months ago and it seems it has been a year. I know u have probly read other reviews about this game being mean, and disrespectful but thats only when u treat ur town members mean like hiting them with nets or not doing things they ask u to do. And Resetii is the main problem. Everyone says that their kids and parents r complaing how mean he is but he teaches u a lesson. UR NOT SUPPOSED TO TURN THE GAME OFF WITHOUT SAVING EVEN IF U DID NOT DO ANYTHING. If u did not even do anything it still needs u to save because it needs to know if u were on or not so u get mail and stuff. And becides, i am almost 14 and it took me a while to get youst to the game. U can even save anywhere by hitting start. Not trying to be mean but little kids dont need to take this game seriously. It is simple to save and it is too confusing for most little kids. Some dont get the purpose of this game so they r careless about what they do and thats why they r always being bullied by the animals on this game. So tell ur kids to be more carfull abut what they do on it.

This game is completly different then the GC[gamecube]version. The animals r smarter then the the GC and there is more furniture on this one. u can get a much bigger house on this one. And in Nookingtons there is a hair shop. If u r stuck at any store u either have to spend a certain amount of bells or if u spent allot allready try paying off ur house dept then he should say the store is going to be closed whenever for remodling. I know the house dept gets higher each time and then so high that u cant pay it off. I know a cheat to fix that. First u need at least 20,000 bells then go to the post office and go to save bells. Put in at least 20,000 and save game and turn power off. Then turn DS back on and change the date to 2099 then save and turn back off. Turn back on u will see that u have mail. The one from town hall says that u got 99,999 bells. U can go back to post office and go to access amount and go to withdraw bells and u will have 99,999 bells plus the amount that u had before. After that u change the date back to original time and u can do this as many times as possible. Notice that weeds and grass apears all over ur town and dont pull them all out untill u r done doing the cheat, this is pointless because they will just come back as soon as u do the cheat again.

All of the songs r the same as GCs. Grapics r better for people and background but houses and stuff in houses r blocky.

This is my favorite game for the DS.

1 Star Just didn’t get it
I didn’t understand at all. What was the point of wandering around and around and around. Not for me.
