4 Stars Pinball Hall of Fame
Very interesting and realistic game, with incredible accuracy. Ten classic pinball games and you only pay for one.

5 Stars Just lke old times
This pinball game is really fun. You can play it for hours and never get tired. Graphics are great and a great selection of games.

4 Stars pinball
came in very good condition. This was better than KiZZ Pinball. If you love pinball you need to give this a try.

4 Stars Loads of fun.
I have been looking for a pinball game for my computer that was compatible with Windows Vista for about two years. I’m extremely satisfied with Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection.

5 Stars fun for older people too
I’m in my 50’s and I wanted to get a game for entertainment. No grandkids around either. Growing up we didn’t have the video games. Real pinball was one of the things we had for entertainment. I got this and it is just as much fun as the real pinball machines and I don’t have to pay to play. It works pretty much like the real pinball. I bought this from Amazon not from the people selling for cheaper.

4 Stars Not Perfect - but miles better than “Wii Tennis”
After about a year of playing the Wii Tennis that’s part of Wii Sports, I was hungry for a tennis game that looked more like real tennis and allowed me to move the player: This is it. Other reviewers detail the way this game lacks certain features and certain players, and they’re right: Nadal especially should have been included, as well as more women. But my main focus and goal in purchasing this game was to have more control over the players, as well as to play full first-to-six sets, which the fun-but-dopey Wii Tennis doesn’t have. And in that regard, Topspin 3 delivers.

4 Stars Nice Tennis Simulator
Top Spin Tennis for the Wii

This is a more realistic game of tennis than that of Wii Sports and Sega Superstars Tennis. This game utilizes the Wii Remote to `swing’, and the Nunchuck to position your player, aim the ball, and get ready to serve. I found the game was more fun after going through the 2 pages of tutorials. This is not necessarily a game that you can play right out of the box, unlike Wii Sports. Unlike other games before it, it utilizes different physics from one court to the next and the players have different strengths. Not one player is maxed out in statistics, like in games like Tiger Woods (although, in his case, it probably is more like reality but back to Tennis).

Graphics is mediocre but there is no screen flicker or slowdown. There are replays and `screen action modes’ to get a zoomed up view of your player; however, it does get old so clicking `B’ gets you right back into the action. You can also perform gestures to show your happiness or frustration with your player. Music is actually good, and not repetitive.

Setup of your Wii remote involves holding it on its side, which is unconventional from the standard way to hold the remote, so it is awkward to start. You can opt for Normal Serve or Easy Serve/Special shot with the Nunchuck. What makes this game more realistic is the ability to aim your shot, make your player run to the baseline or net, hit Top Spins or Slice Shots. You can also perform Drop shots and lob shots.

I find Singles play to be easy for me. Conceptually, I cannot get into the rhythm of Doubles play, so I will pass.

Menu navigation is easy. There are three modes: Party, Exhibition and Road to Glory. Road to Glory involves progressing in your seeding through various events. Party involves winning by capitalizing on various aspects of a match.

The male players are listed below:

Roger Federer

Tommy Haas

Gael Monfils

David Nalbandian

Andy Roddick

Andrew Murray

James Blake

Mario Ancic

Tomas Berdych

Mark Philippoussis

The female players are listed below:

Maria Sharapova

Svetlana Kuznetsova

Justin Henin

Nicole Vaidisova

Caroline Wozniacki

The Different Venues include the US Open, Sony Ericsson Open, Australian Open, Pacific Open, and Roland Garros.

There are a lot more technical factors when compared to Wii Sports. A lot of the physics from one court to the next are also very good.

Overall, it’s a very fun game.

4 Stars Great tennis game ever
I can’t stop playing this game. It’s very fun and makes me burn a lot of calories as you have to serve and swing as in a real tennis game.

I recommend this game to anybody who is a tennis fan.

2 Stars poor version of a very good game
I bougth this game a few week ago and it’s a completely poor version of a x-box 360 version, it’s only a few tounaments, you only can use the players of a very little list (and the half of this list is people that in my life a never knew in the tennis area), also very soon you can dominate the game and win every tournamet so easy, even if you set you opponent in ?very hard mode? So for me this gama wasn’t what i was waiting. the only very good thing that this game has is that the proffesional players hits the ball very similar than in the real life they do, like a federer’s backhand or a roddiks serve, but this is only one good thing against a lot of poor bad things.

5 Stars Nice Game
Very cool Game, and very intensive phisical activity. You have to train your self a little before being somehow “productive” in this game

Pro Evolution Soccer 09

Pro Evolution Soccer 09

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for Xbox 360 by Konami is the latest update to the award-winning soccer series, with new additions, smarter AI, and better graphics for a more realistic game than ever before. With exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League, this game will let you play as and against your favorite UEFA players and teams.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 has an exclusive UEFA Champions League license. View larger.

Become a Legend mode lets you create a player from scratch. View larger.

Play on your favorite UEFA club fields. View larger.

Friction, air resistance, backspin, and more make for realistic ball movement. View larger.

Exclusive UEFA Champions League License
New to the Pro Evolution Soccer series is an exclusive UEFA Champions League license. The UEFA Champions League is Europe’s greatest club competition, and the license means the game will have all the elements and attributes of the Champion League Competition. The Ligue 1 Orange and Eredivisie are both fully licensed, and the England League (Premier League), Italian League (Serie A) and Spanish League (La Liga) are partially licensed. Manchester United and Liverpool are the licensed English clubs in Pro Evolution Soccer 2009.

The UEFA Champions League mode is given a new television-style presentation, where you get dramatic camera angles on replays, videos, and banner ads. Along with the official team names, upgraded graphics, and more life-like player movements, others watching you play might mistake the video game for an actual game on TV.

Become a Legend with New gameplay Mode
The new Become a Legend mode lets you create a player from scratch and focus on the individual player rather than a team. The game lets you customize the player down to the smallest detail, including his free kick run-up and celebration routine. If you use a supported camera, you can even put your face on the player and create team emblems. After you’ve created your character, the more you practice and play, the more he improves.

After you have a legend you’re satisfied with, you can export him to an online legends game with four other players, where you team up and play against computer teams.

Realistic Ball Movement
Balls now move around more realistically thanks to adjustments for friction, air resistance, backspin, and more. This allows for new strategies and techniques such as lifting balls over defenders legs and doing tee shots. Improvements have also been made in passing, and the reactions of your teammates. The upshot is a game that looks and plays more like real life.

Play With and Against Friends Online
In addition to the Legend online mode, you can also challenge your friend to a 1-on-1 match. If your friends aren’t online, there is also a quickmatch option that pairs you to a random online player.

With its exclusive UEFA Champions League license and updated ball movement and graphics, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 will have soccer fans cheering.

4 Stars fun game
the game is pretty sick if you like soccer and spacing the field out. shooting is particularly odd / difficult.. but I imagine they want you to log in some hours before it becomes second nature!

5 Stars Good for Soccer
I fully admit I have long been a Pro Evolution fan over the FIFA series, but I also must admit that I came very close to making the switch after last year’s PES and having read all the great reviews for the new FIFA. However, I went with my gut and gave PES 2009 a shot, in part b/c the price of $39.99 for a new copy of the game is tough to beat. Boy, amd I glad I did.

4 Stars great but…
when is someone going to make a complete game. PES has always been the best game and most realistic to play but… on any time setting you try you will not get realistic scores from the other cpu games in your league… you have to play with at least 10 minutes setting but that seems a bit fast and the league scores are a little high. for a better game the time needs to be set at 20 mins but then you get really high scores in the cpu games (avg. 5+ goals per game, in real soccer the avg. is 2.5 goals per game). why can’t konami see that in the testing…. how can you play a whole season when the other teams are going to have a ton of goals etc… FIFA is better for this but it lacks the management and tactics options.

4 Stars futebolman
i like pes since it’s started but I read the inf about the new things on pes 09′ what they included which is great! but i don’t like the idea about the other leagues not been fully licensed and that is something that I wish they can change or fix so all teams can be licensed on the game, but still the best game to play and have fun!

5 Stars Better than FIFA!
I played FIFA 2009 for months and it is a great game but Pro Evolution has the edge on FIFA. The Master league is a lot more fun to play then Manager mode on FIFA. Scoring is difficult but very rewarding buying players is a challange which it should be. There are more players that look like they do in real life than there was in FIFA. You can score from crosses into the box which seamed to be an impossible way to score in FIFA. I love PE09 and can’t wait for the next version.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Good Game
If you’re a fan of sim racing games and a PS3 owner; get this. There currently aren’t many choices out there for sim racing on the PS3, and this is one of the better ones. The pit stop system is a dumb mini-game where you hit buttons as fast as you can, but that’s the only real complaint I have about the game.

5 Stars very fun and realistic game
if you a formula fan you will love this game.

the sound the ditails and the grafic are very goooooood.

4 Stars Worth buying
Pros: High quality graphics, great for both beginners and more advanced players alike thanks to the various driving aids.

Cons. Can’t play online “worldwide” (one of the reasons I bought this game was to play family in UK from here in USA), Career mode a bit odd….changing teams mid season 2 or 3 times!

FOOTNOTE. I contacted the publishers regards the inability to play against gamers in Europe my (possibly automated) response from them was ” Is your game online compatible? If so contact the publishers!!!” Doh!

5 Stars Terrific treat for formula one fans!
Being a big formula one fan, I was excited to buy this game for my PS3. The tracks and the drivers are very close to real life. The game can be as difficult as you want it to be with different configuration options. Visually this game is stunning even at 720i, especially the rain effects. If you are a f1 fan, don’t even hesitate to pick this one up. One of the best racing titles out there. I don’t understand people who make a silly arguments about lack of stellar titles available for the PS3. This game is reason enough to own a PS3. Not to mention MotorStorm:Pacific rift and MGS4.

5 Stars Formula 1 2007
The most important things for me regarding F1 2007 were, being able to drive from the cockpit, excellent graphics, realism, and of course real sounds.

This game gives me all of the above and more. The tracks, the speed, and especially the difficulty levels, as anything above easy makes you work hard to stay with the field. I also like the crash realism because unlike GT4, if you put the car into the barrier, or make contact with another car, your’re done. With GT4 you crash at 100mph and just keep going. My only complaint is the commentator voice being repetitive as well as the race engineer, it definitely needs tweaking with a wider vocabulary range.

The options are incredible, and I especially like the career mode which shows you what a real driver goes through in order to get a contract.

Removing the electronic aids(traction control, braking assist)you really have your work cut out for you, it’s like driving a real car. This is a well thought out game and I can only hope that Studio Liverpool will be putting out F1 2008, as no other F1 game comes close. I also like the music, they just need to add some more tracks. All in all, a great game.

5 Stars Good game
I like this game a lot. People who love soccer will like it too.

4 Stars Great game
Overall it’s one of the greates games I have played, the downside is the lack of teams and players because of the licenses… There’s no Bundesliga, no Chelsea, no Arsenal, no Germany national team… But u get used to it. Again, great game.

5 Stars BEST SOCCER GAME, PERIOD!
This is the best soccer game, period! It is very realistic, with all the new players in their new teams, and everyghing is updated. If you use it with a HDMI cable, you’ll get very detailed faces, moves, etc. Great game overall!

4 Stars Great game!
This is a very fun game. The only thing that I would do better is the music, and the narrators….songs are the same all the time, and the narrators are saying the same comments during the entire game. Graphics, sounds and effects are great!

2 Stars If it wasn’t for the PS3 consule I would’ve thought I was playing PS2
The game is exactly the same as PS2’s PES 2003,2004,2005,2006

I would not advise any body to waste their money on it.

PES has been doing the same move since the game first came out, all they do is change the issu date on the cover and only update the players statuses and conditions….. that’s it. No improvments what so ever graphics wise or controlling wise.
