3 Stars Fun game
The is pretty darn fun, it does get repetative sometimes, so it’s not one I play all day everyday, but it’s fun to break it out every so often.
4 Stars Lots of fun for a non-fisherman!
My boyfriend loves to go fishing, however, I don’t like to hurt the fish (Yes, I am one of those). This was the perfect compromise. It is a real blast! We get to spend time fishing together, yet nothing has to get hurt or killed! It is easy to figure out and once you get the hang of things you can get addicted. My Dad has this game at his house also and we are constantly calling one another to show off the size of our catches. He holds the current record at 18lbs.
We are all in our late 20’s, 30’s and 50’s, so I am not sure how well this game would do for the kiddos. It doesn’t have much of the content that a lot of the games do these days. It is purely fishing. No picking up hookers or killing homies.
1 Star Fun if you ever catch a fish.
This is supposed to be a basic, arcade style fishing game for the family to play. One assumes an adult or child could pick it up and catch fish with little practice. This is not the case; not even close. The controls are so slow and unresponsive that after about 4 hours of playing time, I still am lucky to catch even 10% of the fish I hook. Why make a family arcade game so hard? I have had at least 5 other people, from rookies to expert gamers try to catch fish and no one seems to be able to master the action. If you enjoy watching fish after fish break off, then I guess you would enjoy this title. You can be critical of my review if you want, but if you are buying this game for the 8-15 year old crowd, then buyer beware in my book. The game will end up collecting dust!
5 Stars Sega Bass Fishing
We purchased this as a gift for our 15-year old grandson and in his words, “It’s great!”
4 Stars Great gift for fishing fan
Bought this gift as a birthday day for my uncle. He has been playing it for hours and says he’s already mastered it. It’s fun for the entire family
