5 Stars Lots of fun!!
This is a great game for keeping the kids moving. My 10 year old daughter is enjoying it very much. I cant wait to start trying it myself.

5 Stars One of the best Wii games to date!
This game is great because you can set it up for one player and just hand off the wiimotes after each song (if you only have 2 wiimotes). Plus it gives you a little break in between because this game really is a workout. Once you get the hang of it, it’s much easier, but you still get a great arm workout. I know many grown men who love to play this game just as much as I do. I don’t think this game is just for the younger crowd. As a matter of fact, I think it’s easily all ages and even a family game. Very similar to Dance Dance Revolution in that you follow along to the steps, but with your arms. You can plug in the game and play as much or as little one song or for hours. And, somehow changing the outfits is fun too.

This game is a must-have for any Wii owner.

2 Stars not to much fun
I purchesed this game because I heard it was a good workout even if you had never been a cheerleader (or the cheerleader type- which would be me). I tried hard to get it down and use it as a workout, but even on the easy level I couldn’t follow along and couldn’t get a workout. I’ll stick to jogging and my personal trainer game.

4 Stars Dance Dance Revolution for your arms
Once you pop this disk into your Wii, you’ll get a glimpse of your console’s potential to make waving your arms around something FUN. Wii need more games like this!

Dance Dance Revolution involved hitting buttons on the floor (and Rock Band puts those buttons on a guitar or drum set). This game is different in that you trace motions with your arms on the rhythm. As a result, it’s a lot harder — instead of just hitting buttons on the beat, you also have to have some accuracy in tracing the right motions.

It’s very deeply satisfying to move your arms around and hear the crowd cheer, but be prepared for some frustration, both because some of the notations are hard to read (arcing your arm backwards above your head is one of the more difficult to figure out) and also because the Wiimote just isn’t sensitive enough to catch the difference between several of the moves. You’ll lose points in many cases not because you screw up, but because the Wiimote just doesn’t register properly. Or at least, that’s what I think is happening — the game could really use a practice mode that shows you what it thinks you’re doing so you can correct yourself.

But if you’re not a point hog and in it to play, you’ll probably pass most of the songs on easy mode after a few tries. As others have suggested, watch the cheerleaders to catch your cue. Most of the time, if you copy your character, you’ll do OK.

It’d be nice if you were actually controlling one the dancers, so that if you mess up, the dancer also messes up. Otherwise, it feels a bit like you’re just playing along at home.

Similarly, the entire outfit/rewards system was clearly implemented at the last minute and is broken. You get all the outfits right away, so the game wastes a lot of time with “presents” that are things you already have.

Speaking of wasting time, there’s an awful lot of unnecessary clicking to get through various story screens and finally get cheering. This is a problem common to many Wii games, which seem to be over-lawyered with warnings about smashing your lamp or whatever, but it’s particularly bad in this game because of the very uncompelling stories (lame dudes asking you to cheer for them so they can win whatever stupid competition they are engaged with… which isn’t what most cheerleaders do anymore — didn’t the developers watch “Bring it on”?)

(And for video game enthusiasts, you might be interested to know that this game is an Americanized reskin of “Happy Dance Collection,” which was released in Japan).

5 Stars Great game!
“This game is really fun, I bought it for my 11 and 6 year old daughters, and I have played it more than they have so far. My husband however is not about to test his manhood out on this game though!! In other words, this game is a “girly” game.”

Team Rainbow is a multinational task force comprising counter-terrorism experts from around the globe. Equipped with state-of-the-art weapons, Team Rainbow is deployed during terrorist crises. When all other attempts have failed, Rainbow is brought in to save the lives of innocent people. They do not negotiate with terror. They destroy it.

Rainbow began as an idea shared by John Clark and Domingo “Ding” Chavez. Clark, a former Navy SEAL and CIA operative, met Chavez during a covert operation in Colombia. During the operation, Chavez was rescued by Clark. After that mission, Chavez joined the Central Intelligence Agency. Clark and Chavez developed a mentor-student relationship over the course of several missions together.

Rainbow was created in 2000. Ding Chavez was made a Team Leader and began recruiting counter-terrorism operatives immediately. Experts in close-quarters combat, demolitions, electronics, surveillances, and reconnaissance were recruited. Snipers, hackers, soldiers, policemen, and contractors were all brought to Hereford, England, where Rainbow shares its headquarters with the British Special Air Service.

5 Stars Excellent game
Lots of fun, and given that it’s generally cheaper than full retail now, worth picking up

5 Stars Rainbow Six Vegas2 Review
I buy games in order to have fun, this game is fun. The game play looks realistic, but one thing would improve game play and that is the ability to go prone. Imagine being in a real battle and not being able to lie down to hide or snipe. Still, the game is entertaining and worth buying.

5 Stars The Best First Person Shooter Ever Produced!~!
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is the best shooter game ever made; If you like, enjoy and value; (1) Realistic small arms warfare engagements, headshot is a headshot. (2) Advanced Customization of your online character that will affect your play because you can decide how much, and where to place different types of anti-ballistic armor. (3) Being able to use active duty small arms weapons used by special forces all over the world ! Pistols, Snipers, Machine Pistols, Light Machine-Guns, Shotguns and the most commonly used, Assault rifles. The assault rifles are quite mathematical in this game as, they each have unique recoil patterns after being shot, put a 6x scope on yours to experiment!

I havent been able to play this game, because i scratched the R6V2 disc, and i like this game so much, now that i cant play it, i dont even play xbox360, because this is the only game worth playing, if you are all about hardcore realistic shooting game, play HIGH STAKES if you have true skill!

Don’t miss out on this game, COD and halo cant compare because they arent realistic, they are made for kids, this isnt a childrens game , as there is much blood, especially when you get headshots, buy this game for sure!

If you don’t have xbox live, this game is still replayable and will last long, if you do have xboxlive, your good to go!

5 Stars Vegas2!!!!
I’ve liked this game since the first one it has longer campaign and some changes in gameplay like sprinting, and ranking up just by playing the campaign… Good game overall online is just as fun great multiplayer maps and their free!!!

5 Stars still holds up
i know that RSV2 is a relatively old game, however, i would suggest that any FPS fan buy the game. if you like COD4 or other realistic FPSs this is the game for you. the single player campaign is intense and always interesting. i would rather play co-op single player than live. this my favorite game that i own.

3 Stars The scariest game ever!
I bought this game because of a recomendation of a friend… It’s a really scary game!!!! It will have you aware of what’s coming next.

CONS: It’s all about fighting with the same view in all the scenes…

5 Stars WARNING
DO NOT PUT THIS INTO YOUR PLAYSTATION 3 BACKWARDS!

When done so correctly it’s a great game.

5 Stars RICHARD REVISION
Demasiado facil para mi gusto, lo pase muy r?pido pero es excelente en cuanto a gr?ficas, no me gusto mucho el final, muy sencillo. la entrega del articulo fue muy eficiente.

5 Stars Condemned but Fun
It’s a fun interesting action adventure game that moves fairly quickly. You get to do some detective work. The fight scenes seem a little drawn out but it’s sorta cool watching the impacts in slow motion.

5 Stars An Excellent Choice to play a GOOD RTS PC GAME
Well , GAME OF THE YEAR 2006 ……

an excellent Choice to get a lot of hours playing in front of your PC

BUY it !!!!

3 Stars Great game, Relic Online is awful
I’ve had this game for about a month now and I really like it. The game play is good and there are enough units to keep it interesting without being overly complicated to learn. The single player campaigns are a little on the boring side, but skirmishing against the AI is pretty fun. Online play was my main reason for purchasing the game and I gave CoH 3 stars because the multiplayer experience is terrible. The Relic Online service suffers from numerous networking issues that make the simple act of setting up a game very frustrating. Several brands of routers do not work smoothly with CoH. Check out the Relic support forums before purchasing this game to see the depth of the problems.

4 Stars Great game IF you can get past the installation
I am late arriving to the CoH party but better late than never … mostly. I have to dock this otherwise superb game a full star (and I’m being kind at that) for installation nightmares and pitiful THQ support. I spent hours getting CoH installed and running. Error messages, endless mandatory patches to support online features I will never use (solo play only here), internet required to play, it goes on and on. But once I got the blasted thing up and running, I discovered one of the best designed, best balanced, and most fun to play RTS around.

Wanting more a believing surely THQ had gotten things straightened out by now, I ordered CoH:Opposing Force. Wrong! When I inserted the disk, the opening screen had a play button but no install button. Trying to run the installer from the disk delivers an error message that the sparse help on THQ’s support forum apparenetly never heard of. After a couple hours of searching THQ, Relic and internet forums without success, I e-mailed a message to THQ support describing the problem. Voila, they got back to me within 24 hours with advice that worked. “Uninstall COH and then install COH:OF. OF has everything you need on the disk.” That’s great support. So why, if this is a known issue, would the website not address it? And of course there is nothing about uninstalling CoH in the manual. By the way, I don’t have some bizzare custom PC setup, it’s a year old Alienware with Vista, standard software and up to date drivers. If things won’t work right on my rig, I imagine there are a lot of other folks for whom they won’t work either. And remember, this is a Games for Windows product. Isn’t that supposed to mean load and play?

Anyhow, once OF was installed I enjoyed another two hours or so of downloading patches. Surely there must be a better way.

CoH and CoH:OF are great games but if installation hassles are not your thing, you want to avoid them. For my part, I am now enjoying what I have but I will not be picking up the Tales of Valor expansion when it comes out. Life is too short, and there are too many other excellent games out there, to put myself through a third frustrating go-round with these folks.

4 Stars Company of Heroes Gold Edition
This is a very fun game to play if your computer can support it. we have three computers and one, the graphics card doesn’t support it and its a brand new dell laptop computer. the second does support it but the graphics are funny and its a fairly new desktop computer. the third is a Compaq computer and it supports it pretty good and the graphics are very good. the reason i have come to believe is because the game was made to run with an Nvidia Graphics card and the only computer we have with an Nvidia is the Compaq. so i would recommend making sure your computer and graphics card can run the game before buying it. also make sure that your computer has plenty of memory because that can effect the game as well. Overall i will say that this is one of the most fun RTS games that i have played. I would recommend buying it.

5 Stars Runs Great On Intel iMac (2006 - 24″) Via Boot Camp
Great Game. Ran into a little snag during first install. Installation went all the way to the end just to tell me it didn’t complete the install. So i installed all the microsoft updates and gave it another shot. Worked just fine. Also, I didn’t have any issues with the 40mb or the 70mb patches downloading or installing. Runs great. Love it.

2 Stars Wait for price drop
Let me start by saying I’ve been playing CoH since initial release and so far have bought every installment of it on their respective release dates. I’m not going to tell you that ToV doesn’t add to the game. It does, and as a matter of fact, I would recommend getting it at some time. However, that time is not now, as so far this product is grossly overpriced.

Let’s compare. Opposing Fronts came with: 2 new factions, 3 concentrations for each faction, consequently a huge number of new units. Tales of Valor comes with: I believe 6-7 new units, at least 3 of which you’ll probably never use depending on your play style. Also 3 new game modes. I’ll leave the campaigns aside for now. So on paper, you can see that OF had much more to offer to the game experience, however, ToV still looks decent. That’s until you realize that at this point there is only ONE map for each of the 3 new modes. Not to mention the fact that so far OF owners such as myself cannot play as the British or Panzer Elite during Operation: Stonewall. So that means that the largest multi-player component to this latest expansion is going to become pretty stale pretty fast.

Now single-player-wise, I would say that the Tiger Ace campaign was pretty fun, however that one sports a grand total of 3 pretty short missions. Woop dee doo. The other campaigns are decent enough too, but really, does anybody buy CoH to play the campaigns?

Relic has been touting the addition of Direct Fire for weeks, however after having used it, I have to say their implementation of it in CoH is substantially more limited than I thought it would be. It’s not allowed in multiplayer (unless you’re doing panzerkreig), which honestly is a little puzzling to me. One would think that at least the big ol’ tanks–Pershings, Tigers, etc. would be able to use it in skirmishes or basic matches.

The bottom line is this: If you own the original CoH only, buy OF but skip ToV. If you own both CoH and OF, skip ToV. If you don’t own any games in the CoH franchise, I wouldn’t start off with this one. If and when Relic releases more maps for the new game modes, and after the price goes down closer to the teens, I would say that at that point it’s worth it to pick up a copy of Tales of Valor. Until then, however, you’re really only looking at about a week of interest in the new features before you start asking yourself why you bought this. I suppose the lesson I’ve learned now is not to touch Relic’s products on or shortly after the release date. They’re likely to burn you.

2 Stars Wait till its [...] bucks!!!!!
Well, I purchased this after really loving the last two Company of Heroes. I will keep this short, cause just as others said, this game is way to short. You can complete it in under 3 hours. This game if you want to call it that should have been [...] bucks. Way overpriced for what you get. And enjoy the Relic patches that keep breaking CoH. I had to finally disconect my PC so it would not patch after a clean install so I could play it. If I would have read reviews on Tales of Valor, I would have not purchased it.

3 Stars Over Before You Know It!
With only a total of nine missions, some of which can be completed fairly quickly, your mission to money value is greatly diminished. Your replay value will come with playing online. If you are looking for a single player RTS game, this is not the one you are looking for.

This can be played without owning any of the previous CoH titles, but the price doesn’t reflect what you really get with this “expansion” pack.

If you don’t own the previous CoH titles, do yourself a favor and get those before you try this one. CoH: Tales of Valor is only for the hard core CoH fan who just can’t get enough.

On the positive side the gameplay is excellent as always, the cutscenes are well done and the graphics are top notch. Just wish there was more to the GAME.

1 Star Don’t waste your money
The original game was great, this edition is a waste of money that adds nothing to the original game concept. I pre-ordered because I enjoyed the original game so much that I trusted this to be an extension of the that experience. I was proven wrong and will never pre-order a product again.

2 Stars 9 Short Missions?
As other reviewers have stated there are only 9 missions for the solo player. What I didn’t notice them mentioning was that none of the missions even have a “base building” scenerio. They are all attack this or defend this area missions. None are start with your headquarters and build from there which makes them very fast to play. I feel cheated…First Total War with their terrible Steam DRM and now Heroes that I finished in 2 days and barely spent any time playing it.
