Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

The mischievous bunnies are back in a hilarious sequel that is guaranteed to be even crazier and funnier than the first – and with even more wacky games! They’ve invaded the world of Rayman? and now the insane Rabbids have a new objective: invade planet Earth! They have established their base at a shopping mall and begun training for their nastiest scheme yet. As part of this training, the Rabbids must carry out several missions around the globe to help them in an attempt to dominate the world. The Rabbids will also try to study human behavior by mimicking everything we do…but in the Rabbid sort of way, with no logic…of course. Back to battle the Rabbids and stop the invasion is Rayman, who will infiltrate the Rabbids by disguising himself as one of them.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Raving Rabbids 2 is the one to get for parties!
Rabbids 2 is funny and it’s different than the first one. We have Rabbids 1 and it’s ok, but a bit difficult and not really multi-player which is why we bought it. The jokes are funny yet appropriate for kids, which is great for parties. Ok you can’t throw the cow in the Rabbids 2 (ok we do miss that one) and yes you can move on to the next game even with a lame score. Big Plus+ for me!

But it’s fun to dress up the rabbids in costumes, you can mix and match anything you want. Rayman has some good costumes as well. The instruments are easier to play in RR2. In Rabbids 1 you had to be a maniac to keep the beat and my wife mostly had to do it as I’m an old RPG player and no way was I going to keep up with the super fast beat.

Rabbids 2 is clearly designed with the Wii in mind, games are a bit easier to play and instead of being thrown in a cell you get a victory dance for the winner and the loser gets hit by cars or sinks in a boat etc…

For parties Rabbids 2 is lightyears ahead of Rabbids 1.

We will be buying Rabbids TV Party after the holidays.

The rabbids games are offbeat and seriously funny. Rabbids 1 is for more serious players who want more of a challenge, and I will say this the Rabbids 1 shooting games are considerably better than Rabbids 2. But that’s about it. Replaying games is much easier in RR2, you can replay any game very easily, multi-player or single.

Oh and if you don’t do well in the shooting game you don’t get to fight the boss and if you don’t do well in the games you don’t get the funnier costumes. So you still have to do well! RR2 makes it harder to hit the rabbids who now actually jump out of the way of your shots.

The A button to reload is a pain since you can’t use a Nyko Perfect shot.

But overall this is a fantastic party game. Our friends just love playing this game as a group.

If you want a party game this is a top notch one.

5 Stars It’s a hoot
My boys (ages 8 and 6)love this game. It’s a hoot. Likewise, my sister and her husband, my brothers AND my mother enjoy the game.

My only criticism is that there is a lot of potty humor (that cracks my kids up) which has lead to some discussion as to which jokes/bodily noises are appropriate, and which are not.

4 Stars Pretty fun game…
Raving Rabbids 2 is definitely fun but the new Rayman when they take over the TV broadcast is much more fun. This game is a lot more challenging which is nice but at the same time frustrating. I would recommend this game strictly for the fun factor and multiplayer.

2 Stars Not as good as 1 and 3
I bought this after I had played Rayman Raving Rabbids 1, expecting it to be very similar. To my surprise, it was not. I finished the game the same day I bought it and it provided no difficulty. Unlike Raving Rabbids 1, it did not grade my performance and the difficulty did not increase. There were not as many scenarios to go through to complete the game and the little mini games were very quick. I was very disappointed and I was skeptical about purchasing the TV version after playing this game but I was glad I decided to purchase it anyway because the TV version provides a lot more hours of entertainment and it has a lot more scenarios than this one does. If you want to try it, I’d recommend renting it. It should be easily completed the same night that it is started.

5 Stars HOOKED ON RAYMAN RABBIDS
MY HUSBAND AND i are in love with these bad bunnies. We own all three, the first one i bought with my wii game used. Our son, who is a big time computer gamer had to show us the ropes on using the first game. We made it all the way to the end, so i ordered the other two. We took it to his home and played four players all night long, Had a blast, especially in the football game and serving up burgers, Every rabbid gets in the other rabbids way, I found this game to bring the generations closer together. I am now ordering my son and his wife to be this game. I only wish all of the other wii games had this much quality and different tests with your controller and nunchucks
