Lego Indiana Jones The Original Adventures

Your Favorite Hero in Lego Form

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures takes the fun and creative construction of LEGO and combines it with the wits, daring and non-stop action from the original cinematic adventures that enthralled audiences everywhere (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade). With a unique tongue-in-cheek take on the original adventures, LEGO Indiana Jones follows Dr. Jones escapades through the jungles of South America to the mountaintops of India. Fans can build, battle and brawl their way through their favorite cinematic moments, from Indy’s entanglements with snakes to his dashing boulder run.

Of course, pop culture’s most iconic archaeologist will whip through all the classic moments with the help of a host of supporting characters including Marion Ravenwood and Short Round. Players can also mix and match the body parts of more than 60 playable characters to create new heroes just as they could in the best-selling LEGO Star Wars games.

5 Stars who knew?
You could have so much fun playing Indiana Jones and as a bunch of lego blocks no less. You are able as you progress through the game to pick up and play as other characters in Free Play mode. Which is basically you running through the level again. But having access to characters that you’ve unlocked throughout the game. It’s at least 60 characters that you can unlock and while some are the same character with different customes. It is still very cool to have that option if you so choose.

The game itself is very fun and can be played by just about any age group. I picked it up and finished it a few days later. While the overall length of the game leaves a little bit to be desired. It doesn’t detract at all from the game as a whole. The graphics are pretty solid for a DS game and didn’t encounter any bugs(others may have) or other issues while playing. It is something that anyone looking for a fun and engaging game to play should pick up.

Plus the price at 19.99 is rare in this day and age of video game prices. Lego Indiana Jones warrants an inclusion into your gaming library and once you buy the game. You’ll really enjoy it.

5 Stars Very Fun!
My son (6) is haveing so much fun with this game. It is really cute it follow the story line of the movies.

5 Stars Son loves it.
My son saved his money to buy his own DS, and I agreed to buy two games. This was one of them. This one is a little easier than Legos Star Wars.

5 Stars Great for Autistic children
My girls had the play station version and they loved it. Unfortunately when you have special needs children dvd’s and cd’s do not last long before they become scratched and eventually unusable.

I was going to replace their game when I saw this version, the same game only for the DS which they do have. Less destructible and much more portable. They can take it in the car and their rooms etc without a problem that the play station does not go.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. And my girls are thrilled to have the game back and able to play it without scratches.

5 Stars Lego Indiana Jones
Again a game I have trouble with the controls, but it is a fun game. My grandkids play with it more than I do and they get a kick out of it.

5 Stars My 8 year old grandaughter loves it. Great birthday gift!
I purchased this for my grandaughter for her 8th birthday. She loves her Wii and really likes this game. Lots of action and adventure!

4 Stars Fun and exiting for kids
My 5 year old loves to play this game. It is not too easy but easy enough to keep his interest. Good game for the money.

5 Stars Great fun for all ages
This game holds true for following the path of all three original movies. The Lego movie scenes are pretty comical. The control for this game is pretty good, you just have to get used to it a little bit. There are plenty of secret items to be found as you play the levels. It gives you the ability to play any character you earned or bought after you complete that level.

My 10 yr nephew also finds the game a lot of fun and we are curerntly competing to see who will beat the game first with the highest completed percentage. Two player function is something I haven’t used just yet but will once I beat the game.

I would highly recommend this game for it’s play & entertainment. You will not finish this game quickly, each level takes an average of an hour to complete and there are a bunch a levels to keep you busy.

5 Stars Great Choice
Just finished playing through the game… sort of a “sequel” to the lego star wars (same developers), there are some similarities (work through puzzles, find hidden objects, unlock characters by collecting lego studs) but some obvious differences. I would probably pick star wars over this one, simply because the franchise lends itself a little better (can’t do light sabers, laser blasters, and the force with indy!) and there are a couple quibbles -the heavy reliance on hand to hand, a lot without the whip, gets annoying. However, the puzzles are fun, some of those pieces are hard to find, and some of the levels are classic (my favorite is the final grail chapter). The tie-in to the movie is fun - hard to believe that raiders is now over 25 years old. If you like the indy movies and like lego star wars, pick this one up.

3 Stars Meh…It’s okay
This game is okay as far as the Lego series go. The Star Wars Lego series is better, in my opinion. I suppose if you have not played the Star Wars Lego games, this game will be more interesting and new. However, it is pretty much more of the same and gets boring rather quickly.

5 Stars Classic fun for all
I purchased Lego Indiana Jones as an alternative to FPS (I’m not a fan) or sports games because I’m new to playing video games. After recently purchasing a PS3 and Rock Band 2, I wanted something other than a music game to try. I grew up watching Indiana Jones movies and playing Legos, so naturally putting the two together seemed like a great idea…and it was! This game is so much fun! I’m 23-years-old, and I can’t get enough of it. My boyfriend, who is quite the video gamer, also really likes it. It gives you a challenge without being too challenging, plus the graphics are good and the story line entertaining. I liked it so much, I recently purchased Lego Batman for my younger brother’s DS. And he loves that, too! Once I finish the game, I think I’ll probably get the Lego Star Wars. Believe me, though– this game is great for the whole family!

4 Stars INDY!!!!!!!
If you grew up with this movies, you are really going to enjoy this game, especially for the easy way it gets around, you can spend four hour playing this game and you really get to enjoy it. My wife who does not like to be around when I am playing videogames because of my hot temper, sits with me in all the lego games, because those are the ones that do not make you lose your temper and the cinematics are pretty funny, so if you like LEGO STARWARS and LEGO BATMAN, you are really going to like this one.

SEE YA!!!!!

4 Stars fun for all ages
fun little game for anyone in the family, high replay value, just like all the other lego games

3 Stars Good addition to the Series
This is a good addition to the Lego franchise, but the game has lost a lot of it’s initial appeal.

Although things aren’t so fresh as they were when we first saw Lego Star Wars - this game is still a good deal of fun and will keep you entertained for quite some time.

4 Stars good game, 1 or 2 players
Bought this game for my 13 year old. It’s a good game that can be played many times over. Doesn’t matter if u play solo or with a partner. Good for all ages, adult and child alike.

2 Stars What happened.
After being pleasantly surprised at how great the Lego Star Wars game was, and hearing great reviews about the Lego Batman game, I was looking forward to this game. Unfortunately for me it’s not very fun. Poor level interaction results in numerous cheap deaths, confusing tasks needed to be performed to move on and a rosters of unlockable characters you won’t want to play with have made this my least favorite Lego game. I’m glad I got this game free. If I had spent even $20 on it, I’d have felt ripped off.

5 Stars great legacy to the Indiana Jones series
+ Using Legos is a brilliant idea

+ Everything is communicated without words. Frequently funny.

+ Great sound and music

+ Free Play is worth playing

+ Amazing attention to detail to everything: the background, the characters and the way they move, the treasures, the puzzles.

Many mediocre games are made based on popular movies just to scam a few more bucks from fans. But to me the level of thoughtfulness and completeness can only be the result of a genuine love for the Indiana Jones series, for Legos, and for game making.

Unequivocal 5 stars.

5 Stars great game for family
We own one of the Lego Star Wars games and bought this one as a family gift at Easter. It’s a lot of fun for everyone, from my 5 year old up to my husband. Since your character never “dies,” it’s a low frustration game for my two younger kids, but also has enough hidden tricks and challenges to entertain my older kids and my husband.

5 Stars A whip-crackingly good time!
Ah, the Lego video game series. Largely forgettable, marginal games until a little something called Lego Star Wars came along. Oh, what a fun thing that was! Colorful, entertaining, challenging and thoroughly great! Then came a couple sequels and now we’ve got this, Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures! Yes, the little man in the plastic fedora has come to join the fun!

And what fun it is! Though by necessity smaller than Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and lacking a level based on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (which I liked, even if no one else did), this game still delivers all the fun, laughs and challenges one would expect of the Lego games.

Though the game is rather short, only eighteen levels, and they aren’t especially challenging, though some of the puzzles take a little effort, there’s enough items to collect and characters to unlock that you’ll keep going for ages until you finish it off.

Best of all, this is one of those rare, great little games that can be easily enjoyed by adults as well as children. In fact, with the really good two-player co-op mode, it’s actually a good game for parents and kids to play together.

So saddle up, get your staff of Ra, and give this game a go!

4 Stars Good Game, a little repetitive
I really like the Lego games they have out there, and this one was fun as well. I liked the story lines, and the creative puzzles and traps, and I enjoyed the cut scenes. However, if you don’t like repetition, or you don’t like looking in every nook and cranny for lego coins, then this is probably not for you.

5 Stars gift not given yet
This was bought as a gift for my grandson. I’m sure he’ll love it, because he loves both lego Star Wars & lego Batman for PS2. They are great products. His birthday is more than a month away.

5 Stars Legos! Why do they have to be legos?!
Finally!!!I’ve waited for this game since Lego Star Wars came out. It was better than I expected because Lego Batman sucks. I am a huge Indiana Jones fan. The only problem is they should’ve included Kingdom of Crystal Skull, then this would be the ultimate game.Still it’s the BEST Lego game ever!!!

5 Stars Great Game
This game is great because my son and I loved the Indiana Jones movies and this game follows the movie perfectly. This game and Lego Star Wars & Lego Batman are great games that bring my son and I a great time together.

5 Stars Lego Indiana Jones is awesome for father and son gameplay
After playing Lego Star Wars Classic II this game is an easy transition to keep you in the Lego Universe. I play this game (as well as both Lego Star Wars) with my 4 yr old and 11 yr old boys. It’s a blast with 2 person co-op and not blood or bad language. It’s well worth the price.

5 Stars good for kids
my 4 year old can play it and has fun…gives enough challenge but not to much.replay value high for 4 to 8 yr olds graphics a 10 for being a ps2 game …story covers all 3 indiana jones movies….for kids great,…adults it is entertaining.
