Mirrors Edge

In a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called Runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed and now you are being hunted. You are a Runner called Faith - and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story. Mirror’s Edge delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith’s world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous. Live or die? Soar or plummet? One thing is certain, in this city, you will learn how to run.

2 Stars Best game ever…but it will make you throw your controller at your TV.
Mirror’s Edge had the potential to be a great game, but it is flawed and I highly doubt there will be enough support behind the idea of a possible sequel. The presentation, the artwork, the ambient soundrack…almost everything about the game is beautiful until you actually start to play through it. It really is sad when productions are rushed and level designers and animators cut corners on projects like Mirror’s Edge. The concept was incredible, but the reality is kind of a joke, and this game is truly testament to the fact that some software houses need to spend as much time developing the playability and the engine as they do on the presentation and the cut scenes. This is the kind of game that makes even HDTV owners want to impulsively throw their PS3 controllers at the screen, due to several situations that demand 30+ attempts at making the same jump over and over again. Save your money for other games, or just buy a William Gibson or Neal Stephenson book instead–it would be a much better value!

3 Stars Visually fantastic….game play eh
Visually, graphically, and auditorially, the game is awesome BUT…the game play itself disproves the definition of insanity. So many times you do the same thing over and over and over and finally it works?!? I love a challenging game but this one is unnecessarily just plain hard. I bought it for my gf because it was different than the same old first person shoot everything in your way type game but she gave up on it before she even finished the tutorial. Her deal not the game’s. Any way, if the controls were eased up just a tad bit I think this would be a run-away hit. I have read very similar reviews since buying it so I know I am not the only one who feels this way. Still for a game in the $30 range it is well worth it.

4 Stars Fun Game
My husband and I both take turns playing this game. It’s a lot of fun but frustrating at times when you can’t figure out where to go next. The game looks great, it looks so real a times. Great buy.

5 Stars Mirrors Edge Review
The game is awsome. Basically you defy gravity by jumping from building to building and running from the cops while trying to solve a murder your sister has been framed for. The interface is easy to learn and you get into the game play within a few minutes. The game is part action adventure and part puzzle solver although the puzzle solver part is maybe only 10% of the game. The puzzles are more of where and how to go to reach you objective rather than actual puzzles. I would recommend the game to anyone looking for a crazy twist on a first person shooter, minus the gun. Wild!

4 Stars Cool but tedious
The game is really cool looking and really fun to play, but it gets somewhat tedious by about… the 4th chapter. Honestly, you do the same thing you did in the earlier chapters but the jumps and leaps get progressively more difficult. I like the pace of the game and the stylistic approach. Definitely worth buying if you want nice visuals.

5 Stars Amazing Game
Well Not so much to say, It is a amazing Game, I love tekken 5, and now I love tekken dark r for PSP,

Graphics: amazing, like PS2 quality

Sound: amazing too

Game Sharing; A bonus for play and fun with friends or not friend Jeje.

Resume: You will enjoy, fun, and become Addicted to this.

5 Stars The greatness of Tekken returns!
After a disappointing part 4, Tekken 5 came back with what really took the approach to going back to what made the series a benchmark not only for fighting games, but video games in general. The PSP version not only has the two great new characters, but packed with bonuses, extras, and add-ons. Great fun to play with many levels of depth, magnificent movesets, colorful characters and great story. My only concern is the fact that the PSP button layout is not ideal for this kind of game, so it’s tricky sometimes to pull off certain techniques. But rest assured there is no better game on the PSP still.

5 Stars Great fighting game!!!
A classic one, I played Tekken since PSX and think this is one of the best. Try it!!!

5 Stars Great Game
This is a great game…the seller was excellent fast service shipped on time etc would recommend this seller and product to anyone

5 Stars A Fantastic Game!!!
I spent some time looking for a fighter game for the PSP. I enjoyed Tekken on the PS2 and figured it would be good on the PSP. I was not disappointed!! The fighting is better than ever and it keeps you interested with things like Survival Mode, Time Attack, Command Attack, Gold Rush and many more. Tekken Bowl is kind of corny, but you can’t expect 100% perfection, right? Even now, in 2009, there are still conventions and ghost updates, so the rankings don’t become meaningless. I love it!

2 Stars Maybe I just don’t get it…
This game has many sport options, however I don’t enjoy it. I didn’t really understand the instructions and the ones provided on the game are not very helpful. All in all, maybe as an amatuer gamer- it’s just not for me. I was hoping it would be fun and it is just frustrating. I guess my patience level is low for entertainment that is impossible on the EZ settings. I would only recommend if you think you can master any game!

4 Stars Not thrilling, but fun….
This game is a lot of fun, but it is not exactly a thrill, seat of your pants, kind of game. There are so many different games to play, that you will be hard pressed to not enjoy something about this game. The graphics are good. The game play is good. The controls are good. My son loves it. My daughter loves it. It’s a lot of fun and at this price, it is a good value…..Let the games begin!

5 Stars very challenging
This game is very good. I find it to be more challenging and difficult than I expected. The instructions are not very clear, so I fell A LOT. Luckily, unlike real life skiing, it doesn’t hurt!!! Great game once you get the hang of the controls, highly recommend.

2 Stars Poor
The game is poor at best. It might be a good game if you want to spend a long time figuring out the controls and how to actually play each event but if not then stay away. The controls are anything but intuitive and in some cases are just plain stupid and this really ruins the game. I’m all for games that offer a challenge but not ones that are close to impossible at first because the control system is so bad. If you are thinking this will be a winter version of Wii Sports or something similar then you will be seriously disappointed.

3 Stars Winter sports chalanging games
some of the games are very chalanging and tiring for older people like speed skating and cross country skiing but the slalom skiing and ski jumping are hilarious and the commentating is out of this world

4 Stars A Great Game!
First off the game is outstanding. This game beats any madden game out there. Thats my opinion but its true to me. The graphics are not the best but are really good for the kind of game it is. The campaign is not all that great but still really exiciting. Its even better if you get an undefeated streak like me. Anyway the injuries are really cool. Way better than the first, they are way more realistic than just a bone cracking or a little picture of a torn ACL, but when you do something cool and you want to see it again the replay it isn’t always the same thing but most of time it is. I’d highly recommend this game as a good choice of a hardcore football game. :)

4 Stars Better than madden………………… Fun Game.

4 Stars good game
I haven’t played the game it is a b/gift for someone and i won’t know til July when he gets it Thank you

4 Stars Better then Madden NFL.
this a great game and it is 10 times better then madden because there are no rules. It allows me to vent my stress and anger after a long day of work.

pros:great visuals, fun, lots of unlockable contents

cons:repetitive gameplay,replay sucks

overall 4 out of 5 stars

3 Stars Muddled
Well. Having enjoyed previous Blitz games I find this game a little untidy. From grammatical errors to the storyline itself…

My biggest problem with the game, however, is that it is near impossible to get the needle to hit the mark. Now I know that is probably my fault, but still. It took me awhile to figure out the “bone snap in place” technique. What I really enjoyed about the previous Blitz was that it was so fun to wear down an opposing player and just destroy him with an unleash. Much tougher to do that in this game with its specific targeting system. How fast can you push the X button?

It is justifiable to buy this game for $20.00.

Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing lets you cross over into a whole new world where you experience real-time exploration

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars One of the greatest Gamecube games.
This is a simple concept, and maybe not enough action to please anyone. If you have some kick butt game, get this to cool your heels. You’lll probaly play it more.

5 Stars Fantastic game!
This is my 8 year old daughter’s review: “I really like the owl, at the museum, and all the other characters, but my favorite is the owl, because he is always asleep. It’s fun because you can make people mad! It is a good game!” I really really like it!

5 Stars The Sims for animals
Animal crossing is a fun game. I’m a 9 year old girl and I like it because you can dig, talk to friends, and decorate your house. I don’t like the work much, but hey, how else are you supposed to pay for things. You can create up to 4 characters and each can give a lot of different opportunities. If you are a young kid like me, then Animal Crossing should be right up your alley.

5 Stars Still playing this game
I’ve had this game since it came out. I still play it, even though I have since bought Wild World and City Folk. It’s very addicting, even now.

The concept of the game is simple: you are a human living amoung animals in a small village. You live day to day, doing pretty much whatever you want. There always seems to be options as to what you could be doing, making this game great for replaying. It changes everyday. It’s also the kind of game where if you don’t have that much time, you can spend a few minutes shopping, making delieveries, or something small. It’s a surprisingly intricate game. You eventually discover little tricks for earning money. When you think you are done (i.e. got the biggest house), there is still something else for you to improve. There is always something to do. Animals move in and out of the town all the time, so even your neighbors change. Seasons change with time, and weather changes by the day.

There are some great features to this game that I wish they would have carried over to Wild World and City Folk. For example, you can collect and play NES games. It’s sad that they removed this part. I’m also disappointed that they removed changed the music from this game to the others. It’s the best music of the series. You wouldn’t think that it’s that big of a deal, but I’ve found myself playing just so I can relax to the songs.

It might not be the game for you if you are really into action. This is the thing I play when I want to take a break from the violent games and just chill for a bit in an alternate world.

5 Stars A way to live…
In 2002 Nintendo released Animal Crossing, a E rated game. I was a person that loves Zelda. They had a lot of items to collect. They let you play NES games. The time I heard that I was like 0-o. A raccoon named Tom Nook (he’s annoying)sells and buys loads of anything (ANYTHING). You have a house that you furnish with any crap you please. It has N64 graphics. I do not approve of that. A con!!!!!! Now I love this more than anything in the video game universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
