This controller is standard with the PS2, as most people who own a PS2 seem to have one of these. It works well, I have had mine for a while now with no problems. Do not drop it too much, as they are fragile and can break easily.

Though only a handful of Playstation2 games require two or more players, is always best to keep an extra set of controllers at home.
They are long lasting, and can withstand some minor abuse such as falls on the floor, or the anger of a young frustrated player who tossed it away after loosing a round.
SONY made these in other colors, and I’m glad they went beyond the basic black, and included this ocean blue and the gray, and a few others. This one has some transparency so you can see a little bit inside.SONY’s design is made for the human hands and is very comfortable after hours of gameplay, unlike Nintendo’s design on their Gamecube controllers, this one feels natural in your hands.
This color is very appealing as it not too dark or too clear. If blue is your favorite color, like mine, get one!

This controller works good but the plastic housing is thinner so it is a bit flimsey but it does work very good if you could find a black one I would recomend that.

The price on the SONY controller here at Amazon, was the best I found at the time I was shopping for replacemnet ones. The OEM controllers are still by far the best made and most durable in the opinion of myself and my son, for whom I bought them for. I have tried other brand controllers over the years. And yes they work, just not as well nor near as long.
